Please take the time to watch this excellent documentary "Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land" (2004), focusing on the comparison of US and international media coverage of the crisis in the Middle East. The movie is directed by a Jewish Israeli-American director, Bathsheba Ratzkoff and Sut Jhally (University of Massachusetts Professor of Communication). There are well-known interviewees, from both sides: journalists, media critics, peace activists, religious figures, Middle East experts and others.
I watched it last night, and I found it to be captiving. It really is worth seeing, in order to get a better understanding about the Middle East crisis and the role of media.
